First leg was to head east to Lancaster Thursday eve. Fri. Petra went to LMH w Olivia, Linden went on some history errands and I spent the day w Bev. Sat (17th) we headed west to Goshen. Had supper w Gloria and then made our way north to the Smucker/miller cabin in Michigan. Too bad... no pics.
Sunday we went to church w Gloria and got to hear Parables! Took Gloria with us back to cabin for lunch and naps then we all drove to South Bend to pick up Anna from the train. After dropping the 3 girls at Gloria's house. Linden and I went back to the cabin for almost 2 days to ourselves. Tue we went back to campus to hear Gloria sing at a master class at 3:00 in the afternoon. We had tamales in town and then we went to Hymn Club at 8:30. Next day, (Wednesday) I drove to Goshen to pick up all three girls. We did a little shopping in there too.
Thursday, we packed up and all drove to Archebold, Oh for Thanksgiving Feast with Sarah's family. What a feast! Sarah had been surprised Austin by showing up at his apartment last Friday. The two of them drove to Oh on Tue.
There are in our existence Spots of time,. . . our minds Are nourished and invisibly repaired; . . . That penetrates, enables us to mount, When high, more high, and lifts us up when fallen.

I can't seem to get my picture to come over here to my blog. So I'll give you my new favorite quote.

Anna in Paris and Amsterdam Jan 17 - Feb 2
Sight seeing in Amsterdam with Melena and Ivana.
with Jan Gleystien's sister at Singles Mennonite Church in Amsterdam.
Anna stayed in Amsterdam a few extra days and then flew directly to PA for Lena 's wedding. She stayed with Onijdas Sijtsma and he arranged for her to play for two additional recitals.
Anna was with an armful of tulips after a recital. She hate leaving them behind the next day.

"Step out of the Traffic" Weekend w Mom and sisters
Psm 46:10 Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything. (The Message)
Psm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. (NIV)
Rachel drives so she doesn't get car sick.
I'm writing some interesting commentary about what Uncle Chet might have been met with when he first entered heaven early this morning.

Aug. 19 2012 Anna at Duke
This is way out of order. Linden and I took Anna and all her earthly belongings to NC back in Aug. It was not a great picture taking weekend because of the weather and moving in takes focus, but Duke has a beautiful campus especially the Sarah P. Duke gardens.
Sunday afternoon
GP often picks this chair to nap on. Petra often picks this chair too. GP looks like he's ready to bolt but he actually stayed there with his head drooping over the arm like that for quite a while.
He thinks he's sitting on a fence post.
