Pittsburg 2011 - Biannual Covention of MC USA

This summer was full enough with out signing up for a week long convention but...  Linden was going as a delegate and I had always said to myself that if the convention ever came close home I would try hard to go to it.  Grantley was going with the youth group and Anna as a workshop presenter so Petra and I signed up too.

We got to meet Roy Williams, Anna's pastor at College Hill Church in Tampa.

Linden, Anna and Petra were among the participants of the menno night 5K run along the river.

Petra made some new friends, Rebeccah and Clara.

I did some volunteer work with the preschool group.  Enjoyed myself immensely.

 Marie - Jeanne from the DR Congo.  In the exhibitors hall was the Congo Cloth Connection market where you could buy cloth from a huge selection African prints.  Intoxicating!

This wall of art was created by and artist and any one who wanted to add something.  It was auctioned off at the end.
