Grantley made this meal for Petra. |
Dying Easter eggs Ukrainian style. |
The joy of growing things! This is the beginning of Linden's Stevia experiment. He also planted spinach, broccoli, and some other vegetables in the window box outside the laundry room window. |
1st Photo: Petra, this warms my heart. You look very poetic, not to mention cozy. can I guess what book you are reading? I guess one of the Royal Diaries. maybe not, but it looks like it could be one of those fun books.
ReplyDelete2nd Photo: Grantley, quite the artist there! It must have taken a lot of something to eat such a beautiful meal. It looks like fun to make and delicious too. I want to try that sometime!
3rd Photo: I thought about how much fun those eggs are when I was helping 1 year olds paint hard boild eggs. It is more difficult than it seems at first, but once you get the hang of it it turns out pretty sweet.
4th Photo: Dad, I am inspired by your gardening endevours. For super tonight I picked fresh oragano for my salad and made fresh lemonaid from the lemon tree in our front yard. There really is something to eating the fruit of your own labor. Just today I was telling someone about my dad, and his great trip planning. Also, I very much like your shirt! Viva Blooming!
Mom, good moment catching! I feel like I was sort of a part of Easter at home. I picked up your tradition of sewing late saturday night before Easter. I bought a top that didn't quite fit right, so I adjusted, reseamed, and hemmed it BY HAND so I could wear it to church on Easter. I thought you might be doing the same thing, and felt some connection to you in that.
Gloria
Believe it or not I was not sewing last minute. Petra bought herself a very nice outfit for Easter several weeks ago. I did sew last week - Caitie's comfort top.
