There are in our existence Spots of time,. . . our minds Are nourished and invisibly repaired; . . . That penetrates, enables us to mount, When high, more high, and lifts us up when fallen.

Giesbourg, France
We attended the Mennonite Church here Sunday morning and came back on Monday for a guided tour of the area that used to be a castle. A few buildings remain that were part of the castle compound. Our guide, Hans Hege, told of his Great Grandmother who live in the house at the one and only gate into the castle grounds. Each evening the farmers would bring in the cows and she would then clean up the road in front of her house but then there would be one more farmer and his cows and she would have to clean up all over again. What a frustration. This may have been that house, I'm not sure.
