Schowalter Relatives

 Back:  Christian, Edith, Inge, Otto; Front:  Tim, Merle and Berti.
Otto was the one Linden's father had corresponded (with the help of translation) with years ago about Showalter genealogy.  Here he is with his wife, 3 of 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren.  Inge hosted a barbecue at her house for us and her family and friends. She was "in charge" (her words) of us Sunday and Monday.  She gave us a varied and interesting time!  Thank you so much, Inge!

Gert, Elke, Inge, Otto (all Schowalters) on our walking tour of Wissembourg.  Gert is Otto's younger brother.  Gert and Elke are both retired teachers and I got to ask Elke about Waldorf Education.  I gave Elke Michele's book which I had read on the plane Heaven is for Real.  Hope she likes it as much as I did.
